is it thin,,good looking guys and girls are continually slagged off in forum posts on fab,,lol,,their not funny,,no sense of humour and are up themselves.

I used to get really bitchy, catty comments when I was on my old profile and actively meeting the same men that these specific larger women were. I never initiated it, and I'd never comment on someone's size unless it was up for discussion, but some are just truly awful to people thinner than them. I guess they harbour a lot of resentment and jealousy.

It's not all, but it is some of the most vocal that are responsible.

I know lots of nice people, some slim, some big, some good looking some not so good looking. And the same with horrible nasty people. It's a shame that people do have to bring size, looks etc up in an argument or bitch about it

A couple of women in here have really bad attitudes and you can easily spot who they are from the posts they make.

They are always looking to pick an argument.

They'd argue with their own shadows.

But thankfully it's only a minority in here like that.

Most women I've found tend to be pretty good fun and nice to have banter with etc

There was a thread tonight started by a guy saying he liked bigger women. Loads of women bitched at him for his choice. Some of them were what he was looking for yet they still took the piss. It was very odd.

I do think more women are becoming aware of the imbalance, however I don't know why some think BBWs or their fans are chastised. Couldn't be further from the truth.

I think every single type on here gets slagged off regularly. Everyone likes different types and has every right to start threads praising them if they want; the issue is when they state so by denigrating other types. Or when other posters agree or disagree by doing so. I have however noticed a few people commenting on those threads and managing to negate the body shaming without resorting to shaming other types of bodies in the process. They may languish in the middle of what inevitably becomes churlish comments but I for one welcome those.

I hate seeing any type of body shape put down in order for another to feel special. Whether that done covertly or otherwise.

You see it both ways. Some slim, athletic people can't seem to handle the chubby love and some overweight people hate it when they fall outside of someone's preference on a thread.

Whether I am more aware of it because of the side of the fence I sit on but I personally see way more digs at overweight people than I do slim people.

Just live and let live. Their are nice and nasty people of all shapes and sizes.

Agreed - and most guys now know that it's a highly effective form of fabicide - so they happen about once a year if that!

It's, seemingly, fine to start a thread about large/curvy/big boobed ladies - or older ladies (eg me) - but not anyone else!

I once set up a thread specifically in favour of younger ladies because I get tired of the assertions that older women are better in bed etc. if we're going to have perpetual BBW and older women admiration threads then we should have balance with other ages/body types too surely?

I lost weight when I was 19 I weighed 9 stone I thought I looked good only my mum and my much older sister told me I was too thin

It's comments like this from men mostly that cause the problems on a thread, so far it's been a reasonable debate and it's words like "porker" or equally I have seen slim ladies described as "bag of bones" that inflame the debate then it descends into the "them and us" argument.

There really is no need to be derogatory to anyone, we all have a place on here.
