Have you by any chance lowered your car on a set of BBS reps?

That sums up most vdubbers these days

Hey.. I have a mk2 golf gti and it is sitting on genuine BBS RZ's.

It's pretty original other than being lowered 40mm on springs

I'm no lover of the vdub scene but can appreciate the genuine stuff.

It's just totally over run with replica gear and chopped springs lately.

A lot of dubbers probably hate my civic in return so it's all good

I'm all about keeping it original. Hope to be buying a bay window camper soon.

I love civics and the retro car scene in general.

Mine a 2013 civic, needed something reliable since I travel quite far to work.

Far from original though

Typhoon induction, advance flow exhaust, plasti dipped bonnet, rota grid 17" alloys

On the audio side of things:

Two JL audio W7s

Hertz mille 1650.3 legends component speakers

Alpine 177bt head unit

Audison SR1DK amp at 1.5ohms running the subs

Hertz HDP4 amp running the components

6mm skinz sound deadening

0AWG wiring

Fused to 300amps.

If you want a money pit get into car audio

My ex is looking at selling our '76 bay. She was 40 last Tuesday

We had 2 Beetles too - the 2nd we took apart & re-built.

Do you ever lose the love?

(Waves) Beetle here

Easy's car though, not mine. I like an 8 at the end of Ma V!

Does make for an entertaining drive when I'm behind the wheel with my hair down and the worker vans pass...horns a blowin'

the groomsmen of my friends wedding went by an old VW camper, no heaters so the Windows constantly steamed up and the harshest ride ever!

It was great

We parted with our '60 beetle last year, just not bug enough to squeeze the kids in anymore. We'll have another one day though....or a camper!

Often both, though the car could do with some strong hands mauling it, it's a little dusty.

Got a mk5 GTI on the way to around 300bhp.

Would love an old camper as a project though.
