It comes as Foreign Secretary William Hague is due to hold talks over Libya and the Middle East with his French counterpart. To try and bring Libyans into UK for there own safety also they could claim Asylum and get benefits to help them out? I thought we was putting an stop on the Immigration coming into uk another lying bastard government for us all enjoy more years of shite

thought the plan was Britain will supply flights to remove Egyptians from the Libya / Tunisia Border but fly them to Egypt

no mention whatsoever of bringing them here

Yes, according to the BBC website these flights are intended to move some 6000 people from the dangerous border areas to Cairo over the next few days - it says these are Egyptian migrant workers who would otherwise have been unable to flee the country. No mention of 'bringing them here' nor would there seem to be any reason to do so, they're far more likely to want to go back to Egypt..

The allies were fighting the Germans in North Africa for logistical reasons.....not to save anyone in particular.

Wow, that's a bit harsh. Are you assuming that all Libyans are brown skinned? Another closet racist pretending not to be, methinks.

If it is true that Libyans are being evacuated to the UK, or indeed anywhere else, then it smacks a little of cowardice to me. If British citizens had just run and hid in another country in 1939, things would be rather different here today.
