"Bugsy Malone "

This by a mile......most if the "serious" ones are almost as funny...just unintentionally! Just so plastic.

However I will be dressed as a gangster for boxchaser's naughty 1920's party next week!

Reservoir dogs & Pulp fiction.

Trainspotting was a kind of gangster film too.

Once upon a time in America was amazing! but it flopped due to the three hour run time.

I've just remembered a brilliant film and if you haven't heard of it or seen it you must.

It's a British film and got all the brat pack in ... Ray Winston Judy Law Cathy Burke Johnny Lee Miller Louise Van Outen and loads more famous faces like them.

It's a comedy gangster film and will have you pissing yourself .

It's called...

Love Honour & Obey

10/10 from me

No it's the one where he stabs the guy messing with a girl and ends up inside. Can't remember drugs being a fixture. Had never heard of him until the referendum then had a wee swatch to see what he was about. Was a great low budget film.

Beat me too it.

What about the old school Jimmy Cagney in White Heat

Or The George Raft films. Genuine gangsters starring in gangster flicks

Goodfellas is hands down the best.

Didn't see anyone mention it but I enjoyed a Bronx tale a lot when I was younger.
