Elections for Police and Crime Commisioners take place on Thursday.

Do you know who your current PPC is?

Do you really know wtf they do?

Do you know who the candidates in your area are?

Could you actually give a fcuk?

Will you be voting for one?

(Turn out last time averaged just under 15% but likely to be higher this time as council elections on the same day)

"I didn't think everywhere had one. "

Anyway, besides that, I don't see why it's a political thing. They should all be independent candidates. I don't want politics interfering with the law.

I feel like I ought to care and pay attention but just can't summon up the interest as I don't really know what they actually do or why the hell they need to be elected.

Looked them up on the internet and, yes, voted by post.

No fookin idea who they are, though.

Mad. Here we are being offered democracy.

The Bucks one is ok. The Northants one has sold off the Police HQ to be made into a School where his staff will be given jobs along with himself. Suspiciously put through trusts and companies he has an interest in. Yes he's a Tory.

Oh and the BBC reported last week he was being investigated for misconduct in a public office with him being offered a caution!

Make of that what you will.

Central

Generally seems a way to pander to local bigots and waste public money.
