Do you think the forums have become very narky lately?? lots of battles being fought on threads, people posting just to have a go and prove how intellectually superior they seem to think they are etc??

i know its fighting Thursday and so this activity is going to be heightened but it is seeming to be a trend on here and i say STOP IT!!!!

so from now on lets just ignore the instigators and make them see their attempts to cause fights are not worth it

It's not as simple as that though Eves' is it?

Some people simply can't see that they might cause a fracas, some people have short fuses, bloody hell, and there are more than a few PMT fired women on here on any given day.

I agree with Eves`s, there appears to be some threads posted in the "Lounge" that would be far better served in the other forums. I come into the "Lounge" for the "craic" and "general banter", oh and a little gossip n` slagging folk off wouldn`t go amiss occasionally.

Agree with you there.

People post and it doesn't make sense, asking for clarification is not always narky. If they OP gets offended then it usually goes tits up. I've seen posts where the first comment is "off to get tin hat and popcorn", that poster looking for fracas and it doesn't errupt because the OP answers in a light hearted manner. I've seen the most innocuous of threads turn into world war three!

Thing is once you post on an open forum you then lose control of who and how people respond to it. Those that are "narky" have as much right to post as those that are "narked"...so there!
