Paddy was really nice and welcoming to us when we first joined the forums, and his posts always raised a smile.

Having only been here a relatively short time, it seems odd when people you assumed were entrenched regulars leave. There seems to be quite a few of those whose posts we enjoyed reading lately

People come and go for any number of reasons. When I first joined the site many years ago there were few members, less back stabbing, less choice, etc etc. The previous site I belonged to simply got too big, it boasted over a million members the owners couldn't or wouldn't cater for the needs of the members and people left and many, many of them turned up on fab. There will always be a turn over of members as they find sites that possibly meet there needs better than others.

When it gets too much I just delete my account. Longest I've been away was 6 months.....

Depends if you think it's worth but I've made some really good friends I've met at clubs and Organised Socials only reason I'm staying to keep in touch with them
