what was the best decade for music?

for me, it would have to be the 70's, followed by the 60's and then the 80's...

the soapbox is yours.....

Tough one as there was great music and some jolly awful stuff made in each decade

Officially sitting on the fence with a splintery bum lol

There's shit and gold in every decade. 90s is when I started to properly get into music, so that's my choice

in the centre

60's with great stuff from Motown , British bands such as The Beatles , The Who , Small Faces etc , then great stuff in the 70's from Pink Floyd , The Jam , the 2-Tone bands , plus many more. Early 80's and late 80's was good with the likes of The Smiths , Stone Roses, The Cure etc , Britpop era of the 90's had some proper bands again but most stuff after 2000 is a bit shite

Newcastle-under-Lyme

In order 70s, 60s, (80s, 50s) - tough to decide between those, then the 90s, 2010s. Nothing happened in music in the noughties.

Every decade from 50s to 00s.

This decade has largely been shocking

Love 70's disco.. 80's rock

90's dance

the cheesiness of the 00's and some of the 'club classics'
