I've had a couple of 156s, never done me wrong either tbh. Had a 147 GTA, a more standard 147 and a 159Ti (2.4 version), not one was un reliable

At what point do golfs become useless? I know of mini coopers running 300bhp with nitrous who get their arse handed to them on the 1/4mile because they can't set off.

Same with corsa VXRs that are tuned up, even if you do manage to set off. Piston 4 usually goes bang

Summer of 1968 I worked at a GM assembly plant in Framingham, near Boston.

I drove Corvettes that had zero miles on them from the end of the line to the transport trucks. We took the very long way to those ramps, burned some rubber.

If your new car was built on a Friday your chances of problems were much higher - as were the assembly workers.

Don't see the point in modding your car so much if you aren't going to do an occasional track day. I was at Cadwell last year for bike trackday weekend. Got there Friday lunch time and there was a car Trackday on. I wanted to take the tranny on but they wouldn't let me

A Mk 1 ŠKODA Fabia TDI Estate, I know I can hear the knicker elastic snapping as we speak such is the pulling power of the marvellous beast. The dents add character and it'll take down pretty much any other vehicle on the road such is the raw power of the old girl.

Easy had an old Favorit years ago, no power steering or such luxuries. Fantastic wee car. She called it her wee tank.

It was great, you didn't even need to put the clutch down to change gear, just shove it in. It was indestructible

Is that right!! The reason is not that I 6 foot 2 so more comfortable in a big car or big motorcycle? Or maybe the fact I work hard and can afford to buy my self nice big cars

AT the mo driving a 2001 honda accord 2 litre automatic which is proving to be far more reliable than our 2008 Peugeot 207 petrol gt that is awaiting a new engine after cam chain failing at only 78000 miles.
