might be a silly question,but why do yo think people hide their profiles, and can i still contact them?

Not a silly question at all . Iratates me whats the ppoint in hiding a profile on a swingers site surley they want meets dont they ? If some one contacted me and I looked at their profile and it was hidden Id hit the delete button time waster imo . Only way you can contact them is via a chat room or forum post I guess not sure

people hide them because they might not be looking to meet people, to prevent them coming up in the search options.

They might be a subscribed member and just wanting to take a break.

If I was taking a break Id delete the profile n leave the site lol, if I decided to take it up again Id rejoin lol as its a free site anyway lol

Sometimes people take a break for reasons outside of swinging, it's nothing sinister.

I think you can still contact them if your on their friends list.

Could be any number of reasons given above, but yes you can still message them or _iew their public pictures via the side menu

Blimey, where do people get off AGAIN questioning how people run their own business.

I've hidden my profile in the past as I had surgery and couldn't play. What would be the point having an active profile for someone to waste their time contacting me when I didn't know when I'd be up for playing. I might not have been able to play but I still used the forums and caught up with friends.

I've also hidden my profile when I've been extremely busy with work and not had enough time to meet regular playmates let alone meet new ones.

If that's ok with some of you that is!

Plus if you hid your profile you'd deny a lot of people the chance of staring at your succulent backside. And that would be cruel....

Doing that means you have to start again with verificationsl. I hide mine during the school holidays and when I'm not in the mood. Not everyone is looking to meet all the time.

I hide mine from time to time such as school hols when I not got time to meet. I still come on to chat to friends and addicted to the forums so cant be away to long otherwise I get withdrawals.

i'm not meeting anyone right now./..i state it on my profile, but no-one listens so it's hidden.

i use the function as it's there and i have a right to use it if i wish...personal choice and all that.

i have mine hidden at the moment, as im not currently meeting...even when my profile stated this quite clearly i still got tons of messages. It just makes things alot easier and i dont have to keep sending out replies, saying not meeting. As its an available feature on the site, why not use it?

People hide their profiles because the site provides the facility for them to do it.

It's as simple as that really and requires no further explantion / justification from anybody who takes up the option to do so.

It's their profile, their choice

It doesn't irritate me when people choose to hide their profile for whatever reason they choose to... it’s their profile and their choice – after all it is a function the site provides for all of its members to use.

Opinions which demonstrate a total lack of profundity irritate me much more.
