Genuine question, I see a lot of photos and chat for men on this site & in general for birth makes who are tv & tg but I've just seen THE hottest photos ever of females who have transitioned to men.

I'm not even sure I'm using the correct terms (no offence meant).

They look amazing, is there a reason that's not talked about or put out there quite so much?

Hi.

I think the preferred term for a trans man or FtM would simply be 'man'.

It is quite usual for a trans person to wish to just blend into society and not make a big deal about their past.I think most trans people do not make it their main topic of conversation, only mentioning that (often painful) episode from their life if and when there is a reason to do so.

I hope this has helped explain a little.

Thank you. Just worried that there was a whole section of people bring marginalised.

Appreciate its a very brave & intensive thing to do either way.

I think it is generally more accepted that FTM transfolk go unnoticed as it is more accepting to see 'butch' women. So, if you saw a transman who maybe wasn't 'convincing' you are less likely to 'read' as a transman and think he was a lesbian. Also, in early transition, some transmen look like teenage boys (ie masc but not stubbly) and pass just fine.

All of that said, like ALL trans folk, you will have come into contact with transmen, just not realised!

Hi.I think, rather than being marginalised, people just like to fit in with the role in life that works best for them and not be noticed.Indeed, for many trans persons, not being noticed is quite an important goal to be achieved.

Many trans people do not even consider themselves as trans women or as trans men,,,just as women and men.Such huge changes in a persons life are pretty difficult,,when it is all over, many prefer to forget the past, as those memories can be so painful, and just move on.

Most trans folk prefer to blend in and just be who they are. Personally (I'm FtM), I'm open and upfront about my trans status as I feel that if someone has an issue with that then they're not for me

But yes, most just blend in and you'd never know they were
