Do you think one day YouTube will become more popular than TV or will be the norm rather than TV? It seems that more and more companies are shifting advertising campaigns to YouTube as it seems to keep increasing in popularity. There are some YouTubers who have earnt a LOT of money just by simply uploading videos. It feels like a dagger to my heart watching them do house tours and showing off sports cars that they have purchased which has been funded by uploading videos to YouTube but you have to take your hat off to them really!

You don't for catch up yet. It will most likely change very soon.

i did google but couldn't find anything except they might be making everyone pay for watching catch up.

i actually used to pay more for DVDs than the TV license when we had no internet, it's the principle in not paying for things we never used and being harrassed for that and not that i can't pay.

it's only been this year that i even let my kids watch catch up TV and they hardly watch anything on it really (easily less than one programme a week) so won't miss it if we have to get rid of that as well. i don't usually watch anything at all but have watched 3 things this month for a change, but doubt i'll miss it either.

I'd just keep an eye on the licensing changes during this session. May not even happen.

Thanks, i'll try to. It was only when someone said you needed a license for catch up that i remembered they were making changes to the license a while ago.

It is SO good for documentaries. If you're ever looking for recommendations, look the subreddit on Reddit called "documentaries". People submit a bunch of fantastic ones to watch, it's a constantly updating curated list.

"Do you think one day YouTube will become more popular than TV or will be the norm rather than TV? "

I watch WAY more YouTube than telly.

Lookee what I found today (whilst looking for something *completely* different)... Tasteful, sweet, unexpected...

.

UNDRESS ME

I asked strangers to undress each other and get in bed. Nothing else. No rules.

.

AND YouTube is one of the few sources I can post freely on Fab.

Win-win.
