Where in the world, you've not been but want to?

We've never been to America, thinking we should go at least once. So pricing it up for a small trip at the mo. I'll be after recommendations.

Japan is high on the list too.

What's the place you fancy visiting, but not got to yet?

Sarah

Both high on the list too. And I agree re Tibet. Although then we might never get there in our life time.

Barcelona is fantastic. Iceland is on my list -poor Mr will be thinking he's never going to retire at this rate.

Can't you find a holiday buddy or try an organised singles one ? They're good fun.

Try a singles one. As I said above / they're good fun and well organised. And I know it's not easy but going alone others will chat to you.

Technically I've been there, but I never left the airport (transferring flight) but I'd like to explore Brisbane Australia! I've been fortunate to travel well in my youth, whether that be relocating house, holidays or even moving abroad!

I went to florida last year and it was amazing. 2 weeks at Disney and I am hooked.

As for being alone, I plan on going back next year alone for 2 weeks. No one to please bit myself. Do everything at my own pace. Give it a go, you may enjoy yourself.

Brisbane is a lovely city. We spent some time there staying with relatives.

by the big field

I've been about a fair bit (stop sniggering at the back) and I'd love to do more of Oz as a month barely scratched the surface. On the current list of planned trips in a sort of order is Japan for 3 weeks, then Canada for the same duration (about half of that on the cross country rail, hopping off at a few destinations) then finishing with a visit to some family who live in a remote cabin in a forest.

Galapogos islands are high up the list, as is Borneo- both for the fantastic wildlife/photography.

Closer to home is Iceland and Scandinavia and even closer, I've done far too little of Scotland and the northern islands.

That lot should keep me going for at least five years!

The organised single ones are so expensive, I've already checked them out.

Holiday buddy is the way to go. I have joined a meet up group so here's hoping I might meet someone to go on hols with. There is already talk if holidays so pretty excited

Loads for me, but high on the list are Canada, Machu Pichu, Bora Bora, and the Transiberian Railway. Would love to do more of the States been a few times many years ago but next visit there we plan to go to Yellowstone Park then travel down the West coast to California
