Been seeing this woman (in her 40s) quite a bit recently but my problem is she's the mother of someone I know (not personally) what should I do ?

in the suffolk countryside

that would be like me seeing someone who had met my daughter....and?..yourve both consenting adults arent you?..do you think the daughter would be scarred by the knowledge that her mother is seeing someone?..do you know how liberated young people are these days?

unless of course you mind is wandering in that direction, in which case, stop it

What's wrong with keeping it in the family?

I wouldn't worry. As others said you're both adults. My Mum was widowed at 32 and I found out years later, she'd had a toy boy for a while. Was I worried - nope, I thought good for her.
