And 11000 jobs is at risk, final efforts to find a byer for its 164 stores failed over the weekend, the company have debts up to £1,3 billions and whole in its pension fund of over half a billion and need to be rescued. BHS which have been a feature of the british high street for 88 years, was bought for just 1£ last year by a consortium from philip green.

They say recently they haven't been able to compete with other stores and its the 2nd biggest collapse since woolworths 8 years ago.

What do you think of the new and could more have been done to save it?
