Take Hart/Hartbeat also suspiciously left off repeat channels like Gold. You may be on to something.

Most of the programmes mentioned couldn't be shown today because it is pretty much un-pc or racist, to tell the truth. Dukes of Hazard, Love Thy Neighbour and It ain't Half Hot Mum spring to mind.

However, contracts can prevent programmes being repeated.

Dave Allen the comedian stipulated in his contract that his programmes could not be repeated. Luckily they still can be found on the Internet. Such a shame. He was SO funny...

Lol.. Live TV

It was utter crap... And I loved it! My house mate at the time was well into lunchbox volleyball! She'd be sitting in front of the telly in the most expectant manner waiting for it to come on!

Do you remember

That women called Tiffany who read out the FTSE numbers whilst stripping to her bra and panties... (Apparently this was due to research that men found women reading out numbers aloud was very sexy)...

Or the woman dressed in a bikini in front of the UK map telling us the weather forecast in Norwegian, then pointing to the map of Norway and telling us what the weather was in her home town of Bergen in perfect English....

Or the talent show called The Spanish Archer set on a Spanish looking patio in a cheap studio, where the prize was a straw donkey. Oooh, the fight for that straw donkey by those dubiously talented people was eye wateringly hilarious! The presenter was dressed like Robin Hood with a VERY strong Welsh accent.(Ruth from Hi-de-hi)

Bizarre telly at it's best!

I had forgotten about the weather in Norwegian but I do remember Britains bounciest weather with Rusty Gough. A dwarf on a trampoline, he had trouble bouncing high enough to do Scotland

Do you remember the open mike standup show where the comics did their act in front of an audience that never laughed. It was painful watching them die on their arses.

I've seen a few episodes of UFO but would love that to be on. Plus Space 1999.

Lots of repeats of the Sweeny on ITV4 just recently!

I`d like to see any of Spike Milligan`s "Q" series repeated!

I saw a repeat UFO many years ago and it hasn't aged well then. I would still like to see it again though

all of those.

The Reeves and Mortimer was wrong in so many ways, least of which was they cast themselves in the wrong roles.

I'm shuddering just thinking about it

I thought that. I'm 55 and I've noticed some claiming to be early 40s watching same programmes as me. Some programmes I've never heard of as before my time, yet those claiming to have watched them, according to their profiles they're young enough to be my kid!
