Just turned 3.. My mum showing me my brand new baby brother.. He was born on 16th March, I was born on the 7th, 3 years previously.

I was 6 when we moved to Canada for 3 yrs. I remember my uncle & cousin picking us up from Toronto Airport & he had me on his shoulders walking out of the airport.

I was about 6, there was an old man who lived opposite and he had a beautiful blossom tree in his front garden, none of us kids were allowed near it. one day me and friend where in the middle when I saw my mum walking down the street. we froze and thought we had got away with it as she walked up my path, next minute I heard "(my name) u have the time it takes me to take my coat off and put this shopping away to get down from Mr Clays tree, get in this house and get up to ur bedroom" all said without her even turning around!

I shat myself and tried explaining I was just getting the blossom to make her some perfume. heard her laughing with my dad about it later.

4 months later she died. I treasure that memory.

My (Mr) earliest memory is whilst sat in the back of my parents Morris Traveller a fire engine came the other way..... With its bells ringing.

God I'm old.

Going off on a tangent, as I often do, in about 1974 whilst staying with my great aunt and uncle I was taken to meet an old lady who had just turned 100 years old.

So she was born in about 1874, anyone meet anyone born before that?.
