The crisps themselves are different, here's they are actual slices of potatoes. In India for example they're definitely reformed. I can't comment for other countries

They definitely still do them.

Smokey Bacon - were always my favourite for a crisp sandwich. Had to be crusty bread - squash the crisps down.

Have gone off Walkers crisp though although flavours I did like include

Salt & Vinegar / Cheese & Onion / Worcester Sauce

Never really liked Kettle crisp always got an oily after taste

Although, walkers sensations lime ones are so good I can eat the whole 'share' bag. Pringles tortillas are another weakness, has to be the original ones though.

I like the combination of cheese and onion,so most variations would be favourable to me. The crisps have to be really crispy though,not maize snacks.
