Spinning off from another thread, if you have left your heavily used toys behind in a hotel, would you ask for it back?

I would be too embarrassed to do so!

really don't know, never happened and never thought about it. might be a little embarrasing though and they may not like to keep stuff like that.

In a hotel room booked for a stay after a local social, we left behind a double-ender after a good night where we ended up in a pile of 5 lol!

We specifically asked for the same room again when we booked for the next social, and went searching where we thought the offending article might be lodged, but the house-keeping was good and it was gone!

This doesn't really apply to me as I don't own any toys... sex toys for males always look seedy whereas sex toys for females are socially acceptable.

But surely it'd depend on the price of the item..? Aren't those Hitachi Magic Wands like a hundred quid a pop? I'm sure hotel staff have seen it all before, so it'd be worth the 30 seconds of embarrassment to avoid having to fork out another hundred pounds on one of those.

What has the price of the toy got to do with one's ability to feel embarrassed about asking for it back?

depends on the part exchange value of the aforementioned item!

I do know a lass, a vicar's daughter no less, who is banned from every Premier Inn in the country after her well used and soiled strap ons were left in her hotel bathroom. (Her speciality was using them on men).

I would've thought everyone has a price point whereby the level of embarrassment is ignored.

If you forgot a silicon dildo that only cost a fiver, then you may be prepared to write it off and fork out another fiver to get a new silicon dildo rather than have to look the receptionist in the eyes and ask whether it had been handed in to lost property. It's only a fiver and one's self esteem may be worth more than that.

Imagine that silicon dildo that only cost a fiver was actually a glass one that cost ten times as much (or more) then that embarrassing moment suddenly seems more do-able.

Your price point may be fifty quid, it may be five hundred quid. I don't know what it is (nor do I want to)... but I'm sure we all have a point where you'd think, "Nah, fuck it off... I'll just buy a new one".

I won't ask for anything back unless it has sentimental value, and my toys or undies have none.

I would ask for a plastic cup back if it is sentimental to me.

Yes most certainly. What toys have you left then?

.

I have yet to leave any toys or significant items behind, as I have a good area clearance routine/procedure.

The only time it failed was when I left my mobile phone under the pillow as I did not want my alarm to wake anyone else up.

I discovered I left it behind when I got into my car, and nearly drove off without it.

Now I include chucking the pillow and duvet to one side as part of my clearance procedure.
