Are any of you lot diabetic and, if so, do you buy seamless socks? I'm thinking of the ones without the toe stitching.

A relative of mine needs some, and every pair I've found just seem awful quality. Where do you get yours? Or which brand do you buy?

Thanks in advance.

i've never used them myself sorry, just the title of this made me laugh so i came in (i was thinking of socks with diabetes).

turning socks inside out would make them seamless though. and i get all medical products from medical shops (not ebay (for a change)) so if you check out medical sites you should find something decent. they likely will be expensive but worth it for the quality.

"Why do diabetics need seemless socks ?"

if you have neuropathy (in your feet) it's vital you don't get blisters on your feet, you can get ulcers then or gangrene.

My relative finds the seams can rub and damage the skin. It's risky in diabetics as they don't heal as well in the feet.

Thanks, I didn't realise it was so difficult for her to buy them. Pain in the arse for me and I've only searched this afternoon.

no problem. i was struggling to find items for all kinds of conditions until i realised you could buy from proper medical shops.

if she's registered disabled, or you are, you also can opt out of paying VAT on anything you buy as well.
