Inhale/exhale...repeat the process till you get fed up and switch it up by exhaling then inhaling

Doing some yoga and breathing techniques can really highlight the limitations of our shallow breathing style.

I usually aim for my exhalations to be about twice as long as the inhalators.

My yoga teacher lays on my back when I do a half tortoise and I have to keep the dog down, I can feel her back muscles next to mine.... it's ahem... distracting

Has anyone got any tips for controlling breathing in the above scenario as mine has become ragged.
