Does any other ladies agree here? Wen u read verifies from other ladies that men have met and it reads 'hands off ladies hes mine' or "dont want to share" i find that if you meet men with verifies like that. Chances are they wont verify you in case of getting hassle from the woman.i never meet guys with verifies like that. Why even show them?

Lamppost marking is laughable, we're all on here for the same thing surely? I never give intimate veris nor would I expect one. What happens between me and a meet stays in the bedroom

I've not noticed that connection but have certainly seen the type of verifications you refer to op - they're notorious on Fab.

Maybe it is reflecting more about the users who display them, than the user who wrote the veri.

But if you've found a number of men unwilling to leave a veri for you op, I wonder if you have asked if they would leave one for you, or whether you're disappointed that they haven't as well as stuck guessing why they haven't.

I think for 99% of people its just a little friendly joke/cliché.

It doesn't mean any harm or anything sinister but people often want to seem to belive the worst in others.

If men you meet are not verifying you i think it's a stretch to blame it on thier past verifications

A verification is an indication that the person is real, turned up, looks like their profile description etc. Nothing more. Don't take much notice of them myself. Including mine that say I'm better than a wank and a shit shag.

I can honestly say I take absolutely no notice what they say. I'd rather view the summery over the verifications.

I veried a meet a couple of months ago and he then deleted and recreated his profile to get rid of the new veri to prevent aggro from another female fabber.

"I've never understood the obsession with other people's veris. Don't like them? Click off them and move on. "

Exactly this. Most seem to big the person up, probably in the hope of another meet and some make me cringe they are so graphic. To me, they just say the person is who they say they are, not a sexual performance review! I never read them and prefer to make my own mind up about someone and because of my filters, I cannot receive any which is fine with me, I never display them anyway, its no one's business who I meet. Some people seem obsessed with them.

I think if it's one of a few veri's from the same person then there may be an underlying tone to it.

You might not do & according to any regular forum poster they don't either. I'm pretty sure though there's a big middle ground of people that do.

Lots of people won't meet me because I don't have verifications.. I am cool with that, I don't really base a meet on if someone has a verification (though I like to know there is a photo verification). So I miss out. But I do exist

As I say. I respect your views and see a purpose for them. Most of my no shows have been verified.... but that's just my experiences... it doesn't count for much. I usually do a social first, so that helps filter out the dreamers

We'll I hope my verifications don't make people cringe too much or induce too much eye rolling. The people who wrote them didn't seen to write anything horrendous, yes there's one or two out there that make my eyes widen a little but if it's making them feel good about themselves and giving them a little confidence then why not, tis only words after all

True, but not all verified people are like that, "swings n roundabouts"

The main thing I was saying is that veri's are not always "notches" to most, they are what they are, proof of being genuine

I agree, I see them as proof the person is who they claim to be in their profile, ie; they are the person in they photos and nothing more.

I'm confident enough not to worry about it. If people take what they read as gospel without even messaging to ask anything, then they are not for me. I don't have sex with drones.

I think verifications in general are a good indication of what a person is like, I do like them and I always will send one back I just think it's polite to.

I think the terms mentions are just a lil bit or humour, I don't think there's anything it is at all. However any issues address would be between the two parties. To be honest if you don't feel that you should meet the person in question that has those types of verifications then don't. Just move on

Indeed but I don't see them as 100% proof the person will meet you. As I said earlier, just because they met other people doesn't mean they will meet you or not muck you about or waste your time.

Exactly, it can be used as another filter, both ways.

Wasn't really aimed at you I just requoted your comment ~ but what's generally posted on these type of threads & what happens in reality doesn't always tally up.

We decided not to shows ours recently as got fed up with people jumping to all kinds of conclusions from them.

You only have to read the forums to see that. You're wrong if you have too many, too graphic, too lamppost pissing, met the wrong kind of person, use cringeworthy phrases....

At the end of the day if you don't like what someone has written about you in a verification then don't put it on your profile for everyone to read...

Likewise if you read something you don't like the look of on someone's verification so what? It's not the end of the world! What one person thinks about someone should not cloud your judgement about them... Try making your own mind up
