Kate says there is a class starting next week and that she wants us to sign up.

I joined the slimming class with her and now she wants me to join a dance class

What is Zumba? I've never heard of it. Is it a new fashionable dance style?

I don't have natural rhythmn took me ages to learn to shag properly and you only have to lift your arse up and down for that

lol @ you going to Zumba

I attend a class and its amazing fun! Its salsa dancing mixed with aerobics, very high energy and usually lasts for an hour. Youtube some clips of it.

Its a complete body work out. I've never known a male to attend before cos it uses co ordination and rhythm lol xxx

Good luck!

I started before Christmas and must say not seen any guys there yet, although it doesn't say just for women. Go for it, you'll love it, it's very addictive so be warned.

"its hard work , lol my girls go say mum you would never cope , lol so i am not going keep to pole dancing."

Don't let them tell you that, I'm probably one of the older ones, but I manage the whole hour whilst a couple of the younger ones sit some of it out. I love it.

Got the kit with good intentions to practice at home. Hardly used it as I had been too busy doing things, including eating!

It is great fun if you like dancing though, and just learning the steps got me sweating in no time!

Well, if I'm brave enough to go to Slimming World where I am the only bloke amongst 60 fat birds, I don't mind joining a dance class with a few fit birds

I go to zumba - I have all the rhythm and co-ordination of a giant African land snail but, hey, it's fun and anything that gets people moving about and having a laugh has got to be a good thing

Kate's half Polish, so she's a proper pole dancer

Well after having the Zumba Wii sat on my shelf for the last 3 weeks, I decided to get going this morning as a change to my usual swim.

Oh boy, totally enjoyed it but at one point got my feet all tangled and ended up on my arse giggling. The music is so catchy. And to be honest if you dont get the steps exactly right it does not seem to matter too much.

Will definately be doing it again It was so much fun.
