Without wanting to open even more of a can of worms, you have mention Trannies (I'm assuming transvestites) and cross dressers but not mentioned transsexuals.

There is a difference between a masculine guy who likes to wear women's clothes for sexual entertainment and someone who lives their life as a woman.

Its not about a desire to pigeon hole people its just that this merry old fab world works better if people are honest and clear about what they're attracted to and what their proclivities are.

I don't see why people should be ashamed of owning up to themselves about their own sex, gender, attractions, feelings and identity. I don't care how people look or dress. If they can't be honest with themselves, how can I be sure they are honest with me. My gay, bi, Tv friends know we will have a scream when we are out but I am not attracted to them. In the same way that my lesbian friends (and a lot of my female friends it must be said) are not attracted to me and nothing will be happening there either.

The long answer is that there's a big difference between pre-op transgender, post-op transgender and transsexuals/CDs which maybe people still don't quite understand. Personally, I think if someone chooses to see the feminine aspects in someone who's "convincing" then they might be slightly curious but straight.

Personally, I've not felt a sexual attraction to someone on the trans scale, but if I was I'd be attracted to them due to the gender they express themselves as, rather than their genitals.

Sex and gender are not fully the same things. And it seems that adopting a binary model for understanding gender is too simplistic for the variation that we have amongst all of humanity. If gender is a little more complex then it follows that sexual orientation would likely need to be understood in a more complex way than just straight, gay or bi. Does it matter if people are perhaps a bit more complicated than some people from earlier decades and periods wanted others to be?

One of the better things that we can often do for our own wellbeing is to just accept ourselves for who we are. We can extend that additionally to accepting others for who they are too. The world could become a better place if we all just decided to do that. We stopped the need or basis for one religion to be right and at war with others and many of the drivers for £billions to be needlessly wasted on wars.

Trannies is short for transvestite rather than transexual. As in a man who dresses as a women and is not looking for a sex change.

As far as I see it, a post-transition (transexual) is just a man or woman, depending what they transitioned to. It's nothing to do with genitals, you only have to look at the BBC website right now to see a cat born with both genitals and a woman born without a vagina! Nobody is going to seriously look at her and mistake her for a man. The cats a bit fucked though...

To be honest, most post transition ladys are ultra feminine, especially south east Asian ones. They deliberately transition in a way that emphasises boobs and feminine features. I for one wouldn't knowingly fuck a woman who has had sex with bisexual men. This is why in my opinion it is important to be honest with others about your Sexuality and the extra health risks it may or may not involve.

Of course some people will always be less than honest in life and for this reason SAFE SEX is paramount for obvious reasons.

You have to try and protect yourself as much as possible for your own health as unfortunately people are not honest about their Sexuality and sexual history.

If more people are honest about their Sexuality and sexual history then we can then make our own informed decision to have sex with that person or not.

Honesty should be paramount in my opinion.
