I think its quite rude to message someone and not include a face pic then no time is wasted chatting if there is no initial attraction. Nothing worse than spending days/weeks or whatever chatting only to swap pics and you don't fancy them. Like it or not, many won't meet unless there's an attraction.

What is the point in speaking to someone that you don't find visually attractive? if they don't send me a face pic I delete the message, if they send a face pic but I'm not attracted I try to reply with a thanks but not for me. If I like the pic they get my face pic in return

We tend to think if someone wants to chat and not send a face pic then they won't be for us . No point chatting with someone who your not attracted to.

It would be like saving all your money up for a mystery holiday and ending up in a hostel next to Skegness beach. Lots of exciting build up but ending in tragic dissapointment .

I think if you initiate contact then you should send a face pic and if you ask for a face pic you should attach one with that request for a face pic, simple. If people don't get back to you then they aren't interested. If they keep messaging without sending one, stop all contact as they are stalling for time or have something to hide.

That may be so but it's the first picture to gauge interest. More pictures will have to follow before a meet. I've met guys who's pictures are clearly out of date and as such maybe no longer my type, i always have a social meet first which then solves this issue
