With the understandable exception of this post.... Lol I have had more success interacting with people via the forum than I ever had through initial messages sent out or the chat room here.

Has anyone else "pulled" (for want of a much better word lmao) on the forum? I find it a much better way to hook up than endless messages or 25 - 1 chances in a chat room.

The forum is not somewhere i would look to meet people. I've had maybe 2 meets in 4 years that came about because i spotted them on the forum. I have much more success messaging people i like the look of.

Yes, all my veri's and all my meets, plus pretty much all my friends come via the forums. In fact every positive thing that's happened to me on Fab has come through the forums.

Just sending out messages randomly never worked for me. It's hard enough for me to attract women at the best of times, so that method was hopeless. Put simply, without the forums I'd have left Fab a long time ago.

I agree the forums are fun. My meets came through becoming friends with other forum posters and eventually meeting as apposed to using them as a tool to meet some one.

Yes, the majority of my meets and all of the people that i chat to have come through the forums. I dont have the standout pictures nor the patience for the chat rooms so the forums work well for we where my personality seems to come across well

The OP makes a good observation - Forums are a good way of communicating with FAB community in general sense of the word and it lets people reading your comments/threads and your interaction, make a their mind up if you are for them

I will also agree that I get more messages from people via Forums than any direct mail

Yes, it's refreshing to meet someone that can type coherently and add value to a discussion. Trust us, the luck we've had with seeing profiles that we'd be interested to then receiving a reply in text language, it's off putting! So we stick to people we've interacted through the forums too.
