I do believe but I prefer the law of threefold return (as it suits the county where I live and it has slightly more venom!)

I'm a believer in karma, I was a prick I lost my gf. I looked after my sick dad till he died I was randomly offered a job 400 miles away from where I was living that happened to be 20 mins from my son. I travelled by coach from Devon to Warrington which took 48hrs round trip for 2hrs with my son I now have him stay with me whenever I want. Karmas a bitch if your a twat, but karmas an angel if your behaviour reflects it

Beyond the fact that bad stuff will sometimes happen to bad people there is no ultimate equaling justice force that decisively causes the so called karma xxx

I'd suggest if there was ALL bad people would experience their justice and all good people would experience their reward

I'd suggest evidence that the above does not occur is demonstrative proof the karma concept is one of statistics and coincidence xxx

If it's around someone else's behavior, treatment of others then call it karma call it whatever, they'll trip over themselves on their rounds with someone else who's wiser. It's called tasting your own own medicine but I dont think it's spiritual

i have thought about this, well something similar.

and i do wonder if without the bad examples of people, whose actions leave other people feeling like shit, if some of us would have any empathy?

i don't believe people are born horrible and without an ability for empathy so do wonder if experience teaches most of us that and others have to just switch it off.

I never understand how people can carry on discussing whether they believe in something or not without ever knowing if they have an agreed understanding.

I will talk in terms of Karma and joke about karma and just desserts and come uppance and what you deserve etc..... but I don't believe it exists.

I don't believe that I will face good or bad fortune according to some spiritual force that makes a decision based on my behaviour.

I DO BELIEVE that I will face good or bad fortune according to the decisions I make and the paths I choose and the influences of others around me.

Karma my arse.

Yes of course, but maybe their partners left them because they weren't very nice and they had problems with their grown up kids because of the way they raised them, they weren't very nice people that's why their kids weren't either, being full of hate isn't good for your health either I don't think.

Yes and maybe they were lovely people who were fantastic to their kids

I have a Very good friend who is going through total turmoil as their child has been convinced by the ex cheating partner not to communicate any more

Please do not suggest my friend who is one of the kindest people anyone could have the pleasure to know "deserves" their mental anguish

The concept is tosh and is illustrated to be so on a daily basis xxx

Well I think you are stating the obvious and I don't remember saying that your friend or anyone else who had some bad luck deserves it. Im just thinking of people I have known, not saying its true for everyone or anyone.

And I did say maybe.

"Are you a beliver of karma ?

Examples?

Well there was this young girl who lived in the woods.

Went for a walk and broke into a cabin.

Found three bowls of porridge on the table and spat in two of them and ate the third.

Then she trashed the house shat in the airing cupboard.

Messed up the beds and fell asleep on a child's bed copying was comfortable.

The owners came home to this appalling mess (they just happened to be grizzly bears) and distraught with both fear and anger went thru the house.

They found the girl still asleep in the child's bed.

So angry they ate her face first, ripped her to pieces and ate every piece.

Moral is have some respect don't break in houses especially if they are owned by bears.
