I am married and I always tell people up front, if they are not interested that's ok but better to know at the start and not weeks down the line.

Sorry, sorry, I have just been contacted by site admin, apparently I left a few things off. (apparently they updated the TOS without sending out an addendum)

9. Must not criticise or at the amount of fluffy toys on a potential playmates bed

Funnily, this reminds me of a conversation I was having with a lady a few years my senior #9who was looking for men her age roughtly) on a dating website - Her profile had a slightlhy ineresting rant about men who were too obssesed with their respective hobbies, which I thought nothing of...Until, we'd decided that we'd go out, but I happened to mention my daughter, at which point she said that she was no longer interested, she didn't date men with kids because she wasn't going to be anyones stepmum, she wasn't the maternal kind (which I actually thought was presumptuous as fuck), but sudden'y the "hobbies" rant made sense.... All the guys she'd been dating hadn't had kids becayse they were too bust playing wit their trainset/tinkering with their landrover/going to the footy etc...

People alter their interests all the time although I wouldn't generally be discussing my kids unless it was really essential. Some things can be on a need to know basis.

Otherwise be honest and respect people. And never assume that blocks mean that you said the wrong thing. Their actions, it's about them.

See... I actively look for people with lots of hobbies (or at least hobbies that consume a decent amount of their time). But I will never knowingly date a person who has kids.

Kids just always seem to get in the way of planned arrangements. They suddenly get ill, or arrangements with their other caregivers change - and I end up sitting on my ass twiddling my thumbs on my own instead of doing whatever we'd arranged. We can't go round to their place because either their kids are there or the kids detritus is, so it puts a burden on me to always have them at mine or go out all the time.

Meh. Plenty of people without kids in the world...

My guess would be as good as yours why all contact has stopped. Personally, I didn't meet men with children at home as invariably something would pop up with little Johnny or little Johnny's mum.

If you're looking for drama free nsa why pick someone who may not be able to meet at the drop of the hat say over someone with no ties.
