Something disgusting happened tonight in work, some bird in the gym came running out, mouth full of blood, hit herself in the face with a bar, think she was doing seated rows but she had her gums pierced and it knocked it! Eeew, why would you have your gums pierced just been googling it now and it's making me wince!

Eww! I just looked up pierced gums and it looks painful. That poor woman!

I got my nose piercing pulled on a meet recently and now I have a little bump near it and I was feeling all sorry for myself, but now I can put it in perspective

Look up hypertrophic scarring. There's several ways of reducing the bump, but it takes a while.
