"He's a player"

A couple of times on the forum I've seen a single guy written off as "a player".

In fact I've even been personally warned off a different guy on here because "he's a player".

It's a swingers site. Isn't that the point? Or am I missing some hidden meaning in that?

The term implies that the male in question will 'play' women into bed, but the need to play is nullified when the women are here for the same reason.

I think a player promises more than they give (exclusuvity, a relationship, etc.) Some gals are looking for a more monogamous swing (some guys too); they end up "played" by silver-tongued "gents" that say all the right things..

So I still think you can be on a swingers site and be called a player.

It's not the number of shags you've had but the way in which you got those shags that earns you the label.

If people are straight from the off they can't be called a player.

having lots of sexual partners is not to me what makes a player.. To me a player is a guy/girl who lies to get what they want... May say they want one thing but don't mean it.

A player would ordinarily be someone who's not strictly honest, saying and doing whatever they wish to get someone to shag them.

Fab works best where we have full honesty between partners, where we are equals and all gain the sexual fulfilment that we need. A player wouldn't really care about their partner's satisfaction - just ensuring that they have scored and got what they wanted.
