not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

So the highways department are doing works not far from my house for two weekse... It's chaos .. next week as the schools are back it'll be far worse..

majority Leeds schools closed Friday 1/4 , I've just asked why not start the works at the outset of the holidays rather than on the 11/4..

the answer the contractor couldn't.. Errr get a f@@king contractor that could. Twunts..

That's my Thursday rant...

Way back in the 1990s civil engineering contractors agreed to keep as many roads as possible free during the 2-week-xmas and 10-day Easter shutdown. In order to help with traffic flow. Perhaps your highway are contracted-out, so run on similar t&c
