Always amuses me the number of people that happily chat to you ( generally without reading the profile ) and assume they are talking to the Mrs, however as soon as its pointed out to them that it's the Mr, the messages dry up and they go offline. We are just here to chat for now anyway and it does not bother me, however if they really thought about it they must understand that both half of the couple need to be happy if any meets are ever going to be on the cards. Anyway, just makes me smile. Have a great day people X

I think it's important to make things clear as early as possible really, although if ever we send a message out to someone who has not contacted us we are both always there as we would have made a joint decision to do so and we would always sign from both of us. X

Why don't you show a pic of the male when the male is chatting and a pic of the female when it is her chatting.

You could change your status to reflect this.

I don't think it's odd for a bloke to see a pair of boobs and to assume he's talking to a female.

And some men just want to chat to a female not another bloke so there's nothing sinister in the chat drying up.

To be honest I don't think the changing profile phot would resolve matters as we both log in throughout the day to reply to messages etc, so it would still confuse people.

It's not that I think it's sinister, I just find it a shame that people messaging a couple are not wanting to chat to both halves of the couple. It just makes me smile. X

We usually find the opposite - people assume that they are talking to my male partner, when in fact they are talking to me.

They usually make some comments about how his 'wife' has great tits or something. So I point out that I wouldn't marry him if you paid me a million pounds...

Had an odd one the other day in response to the "dirty message thread" first message was describing a situation and wasn't really directed at either one of us. I (m) responded clearly referencing my wife in the third person, the guy's next message was something along the lines of "I want you to bounce on my cock while I finger your ass hole" made me chuckle as he was straight.

Generally with messages I'll sign off from both of us with my wife's name in brackets, as communication involves both of us, but it make it clear who's speaking at that time.

Don't mind chatting to both the male or the female of a couple as long as I know which one at the time of chatting, after all you need to get on with them both if there is to be a potential meet as a threesome & to be fair the male half is sharing his partner with you, so there has to be respect in that case.

I still think, as above, it is surprising the number of people who send mail or post from a couples account, without saying who it's from, and then get miffed when the other person guesses wrong.

There seems to be some confusion in here, so just to make it clear.

If we message people we always sign from both as we are looking to take things further and we do everything together.

If one of us is responding to a random message that says hi we do try and let the people know who is responding as soon as possible, usually in the first message although if not I tend to use very blokey language that is a give away.

I do not get pissed-off or annoyed, it just makes me smile that some people don't want to chat to the man as well as the woman when looking to play with a couple.

Hope that makes sense.

Our experience is that those sort are the ones who only want to talk dirty to Mrs ddc, rather than meet, so we have a very generic, plain, 'sorry, we don't do sexy chat' style message for them, then wish them well.

I'll always assume both partners who are present and in full knowledge of the conversation as it happens. However, it's pretty easy to tell whether it's him or her who I'm chatting with, after a couple of messages. I do have good instincts though, so maybe that helps.

Yep. Sounds familiar. Lots of men wanting to chat up A, ignore the profile and test the waters to see if she wants to meet without me when A has a friendly conversation with them. They kind of forget that I can see their messages too.
