Give myself good advice, like I give to others?

Most of my friends will come to me for advice if they have an idea, a problem, or just need a sounding board, and I'm often told that the advice I give, is sound advice, but why can't I give myself good advice?

Is it like not being able to tickle yourself?

think its because giving yourself advice is like talking to yourself and that's first sign of madness

Someone else's advice is drawn on things that maybe you can't see as you're too close to the problem.

It can also be something you may not want to do even though it's for the best, hence you don't *see it.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and sometimes your advice to others - comes from getting your fingers burnt when you did that exact same thing.
