Hi, i never understand people blocking people they have had no contact with. We've noticed of late that we have been blocked by a couple of couples, plus somebody sent a feiend request then blocked when we didnt immediately accept it.

Whats all that about?

I've blocked people in advance when I know them, or their real partners in some cases.

Even a few times from forum posts that make me realise we just wouldn't be compatible. But would have to be something quite extreme to be honest.

But as already been said they are making it easier for them.

I block people that keep coming up in my local search that I don't feel I am compatible with. It saves me from continually looking at their profile. Nothing against them I just have a type.

It helps filter out people who wouldn't be interested which should make it easier to find those that are.

I block loads of people for a wide variety of reasons.

Sometimes because they are local and keep posting photos I don't want to see in my local updates. Sometimes because I don't like their status messages. Sometimes because their forum posts show me they're not my type of person. Sometimes because of messages they send me. Sometimes because I read their profile and don't like their attitude.

And various other reasons.

Well it's not their loss really, is it? I mean they didn't want to have sex with you, so they're not losing anything at all by blocking you. In fact they're gaining something - some time back when they don't have to look at your profile again.

We tend to block people who view our profile but do not meet our criteria for a meet, sounds a bit harsh I know but I like to read the profiles of the people who view our profile, we have found it was mostly the same people every day viewing it, so we blocked them and we found profiles that had been pushed out the listing ( only shows 100 )that did interest us, So am afraid that's our reason for blocking people ( who might be lovely people )but if there's no chance of ever meeting them then what's the point of having people who we might meet pushed off the list

My blocks come from my forum posts, used to make me think what's the point of blocking someone who doesn't even want to meet you but then realised a block from the forum is their way of saying, I don't like you or what you're about!

It's threads like this that make me aware of people who have blocked me!

ok let me give you an example a woman has on her profile big black cock only I know that rules out half to three quarters of the black guys but if you are white she doesn't need you or you her so block and you eliminate her from the process you don't know them so no harm done

Ive been blocked by a few people. one of them actually talks to me on the forums and knows she blocked me.

Its there right to do so, cant see a problem.

A guy sent me a message which I ignored as I'm not looking for that atm...then he sent me an angry message because I DID'T block him and ignored him instead!..First time I've had someone angry because I didn't block them lol Then he said people from Ayrshire are 'inbred'..I'm not even from Ayrshire lol
