Marc runs, so I can just run with him. It's the laziness that seems to be my problem.

There's a runners thread going on, which many of us post in

I'm nearly finished training for the Chester half marathon in May; and there are others in the Brighton marathon too

Redditch

Redditch is a lovely social run.

A few more hills than Evesham.

Almost all of it on Tarmac, so it's quite a fast course.

We have run three consecutive Hell Runs and last year we both ran the great south run.

Much preferred the Hell Run with the variety of terrain and pace, whereas the Great South was flat, boring and one pace.

Also with the Hell Run you have mud to contend with, the great south it was jelly babies getting stuck to your trainers!!

Yeah.

Tough Mudder this year, down here, is on my birthday, when I turn 50,Mrs T is the next day,and our kids are egging us on to do it offering to pay for it, it's bloody expensive!.

Looking into the obstacles including electric wires et al I'm left wondering what their motives are!!

Just East of Wakefield

Been running a few years (cycling for almost 30 serious years)

I prefer fell-races, when l get the chance, & treat road-running/running to work/etc as training

In fact, l did a fell-race last week

I ParkRun, but l'm unfit at the moment (had a recurring foot problem), so have put weight on, & so not threatening my ParkRun PBs

Happy to accompany beginners, & encourage, around here

My problem is since November I've damages my knee due to muscle definition causing alignment issue of knee. So not run since having physio an gym to fix so hopefully out running soon
