A pikelet ????

As kids we alays used the term "pikelet" But now i calls um "crumpets".

Is what you call them down to where about you live in this glorious land ?

Pikelets are thin, like an American Pancake. Crumpets about 1/4 inch thick

well pikelets to me were always little pancakes and crumpets are those bready things with the holes in the top.

oooo Piklets defo was always a treat when my mum used to by us piklets from the butchers when we lived in derbyshire they where much different to the piklets you can buy they where more the size of a pankake

They were Piklets when I was a nipper too, don't know why they changed them to crumpets!

Pikelet (n) Crumpet or (in some districts) muffin. [Welsh (bara) pyglyd pitchy (bread)]. Well I hope that clears that one up for everyone, and yes I did swallow a dictionary for breakfast!
