That veri's should be restricted to a certain amount (smaller amount) of characters?

I've just read one that was like a story!!! Ffs. It didn't really say very much other than 'private jokes' pretty sad!

Who else thinks it should be like leaving feedback on eBay?

I like veris with a bit of personality to them which tell a story. I have had a few like that myself and they are the best to read over. If others don't like reading them then they don't have to

You want a 5 star rating on were they as described, turned up on time, overall satisfaction?!

If people want to waste their time, writing war and peace, leave them to it, I say. It's people not thinking, that causes more annoyance, than longwinded verifications.

Try just not reading them...

If that's the case I'd like to return mine, due to it being faulty and not as it looked in the pictures.

That's all it needs to be really, I find it off putting when people go into proper detail, but thats just my opinion.

I think people should be allowed to say what they feel needs to be said, no matter how long that may be. Showing a bit of restraint in what's actually said would be a good idea sometimes with some of the guff you read but that's only my opinion. Each to their own.

So use it as a filter?

It never fails to amaze me just how much interest people take in how other people do things and how huge the need seems to be to criticise.

If you read something you don't like then accept that you don't like it.

If you want to have a discussion about something, do you think it's possible just to ask a question rather than have a pop at someone you don't know in the process?

I recently verified someone I met 2 years ago but when it came to writing it I couldn't say what went on for fear it would put birds off. Just kept to the basics which is what I think veri's should be. Yes the person is the person in the pictures and they were pleasant.

I leave a variety of verifications to suit the person, some serious, some fun and some downright stupid. I left someone a one word one cause i thought it matched them

"Try just not reading them..."

Some people think the forum is stupid, or the chatroom, or verifications, or having loads of photos, or Avatar competitions, or having arty pics or clunge pics...

We all use Fab in a way that suits us personally. Doesn't mean everyone has to use it the way you prefer.

In all seriousness tho, you do say that you don't usually display it!

I have something similar but choose not to display it as it's just for my eyes and gives me a giggle. I did tell the author that this would be the case!

I really don't stress over it

It's pretty tongue cheek post tbh.

I just wondered what the original intention was for veri's when fab first started. Not sure if they thought it would lead to some of the epic stories??

And does it really tell you much about the giver or the receiver?

I'd always find an agenda if someone feels the need to fully read a verify, especially if its putting them off hearing what another person is saying about them.

In my opinion its commonly people who arent (honestly)comfortable with the nsa sex scene, who overworry about who meets who and who said what and indeed who shagged.

Oh it wasn't a rant. When I have a rant, you'll know.

My first sentence was in response to you, the rest was merely an observation and it wasn't specific to you, it happens here pretty much on a daily basis.

So to clarify, this is a public forum and people can respond to whichever thread they wish to respond to within the rules. That's generally how forums work.

I see the verification system as a means to confirm the person turned up and was presentable and was the person represented in the profile.

I'm not a fan of graphic details. Saying someone is a great shag, has a gorgeous cock or gives an amazing bj is subjective and therefore pointless in a verification.

It's a verification they're real, not a performance review. In my opinion.

I don't really like any verifications full stop. The idea of leaving a review for everyone to read about the time I've spent with someone is a bit weird to me.

They also tap into the overthinking part of my brain negatively - there's many a person I've been totally turned off by either their veris, the veris they've left for other people or who they've been left by or for.

I appreciate that this is my issue though, and everyone else seems to get a bone on for the system.

Absolutely!!!!

I've met guys who have had amazing veri's and then thought really??? Guess just not for me!! That's why I think a basic system would be easier!

I suppose people who leave elaborate explanation of how someone performed can be construed as lamp post pissing?
