Third one was shite, and the first was a blatant rip off of battle royal,

Books were loads better than the films. Mockingjay part1 was my favourite of all the films though

Good fillum. Love this dystopian sci fi stuff.

Bit disappointed with her Mystique role though, Rebecca Romijn was better.

I've ordered some blue body-paint for D lol.

Only seen the first one. Thought it was alright. Like a Hollywood version of Battle Royale. Don't really get into the teeny stuff so never got round to the sequels. Watched another teeny film last night called the 5TH Wave. Didn't really know what it was till about half way and by then I was invested, could have had more to do with a now very legal Chole Grace Mortez.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole series of films. Even better they were films I went to see with my son. Not much we get to do together these days. On a similar vein we've enjoyed the Divergent series and Maze Runner films

I was about to comment that Maze Runner is similar too. First two films were good. Hopefully third will be out before too long. Books are great as well.

And agree Divergent series are good as well.

I like the bright colour scheme of the Hunger Games books.

Katniss is such a great character, she can kick serious arse!

I've enjoyed all the films & like you still have the last part to watch.

Be sure you do roxi... It makes up for mockingjay pt1 being left in such an anticlimactic way

I'm not that fond of these movies to be honest. They're pretty much class war movie. When I say class war, I mean upper class vs lower class.

I do find the whole concept of the hunger games pointless as there is no logic behind picking a bunch of kids to kill each other for entertainment.

That's just my opinion on it to be honest

Fisrt film was pretty good and reasonable accurate to the books (yeah I have read thaem all).

However as the subsequent films water down Katniss character and progressive turn her into a little woman who needs men to protect her rather than getting progressively tougher as she does in the books.
