That make you happy!

I ordered a mug from the Emma Bridgewater shop with my name on it. I've got an odd name and it's never on anything so I've never had anything with my name on it. I'm ridiculously pleased about a mug.

What small thing has made you happy lately?

I did that in the loos in Trump Tower. Whilst on the loo. Uncontrollable laughter. With no-one to be immature with. It still makes me laugh.

Jumped out of the car and they had a dyson ball vac that was stood outside because it had broke.

Watching a sausage dog square up to an inanimate object and bark like it was an intruder made me smile

Finding a limited edition bottle of eye makeup remover, a larger bottle than normal, at a special price, and then realising I get a 10% student discount on the site as well.

Withdrawing just under £80 cashback I've earned on Quidco, to add to my savings fund for something nice. Free money is nice.

I walked into town today and a guy actually stopped dead in his tracks on the pavement and said 'Wow. Just wow'. That has never, ever happened before and totally made my day. Especially since I was in glasses, no make-up and with my hair shoved up in a bun, just bimbling along.

" I've got an odd name and it's never on anything so I've never had anything with my name on it. I'm ridiculously pleased about a mug.

"

A family friend has a young daughter, (about 4 or 5), who has a common name but with an unusual spelling, so she can never get anything with her name on either.

The friend, her mum and her daughter all had Christmas dinner with my parents and me this year. I'd made jewellery for the friend and her mum and I was concerned the little girl would feel left out.

I took some alphabet beads and some various colours of elastic with me, and before dinner, the friend, the daughter and I sat and made her a stretchy bracelet with her name on. She chose the type of beads she wanted and the colour of the elastic and then we spread the beads out and let her find the letters to spell her name.

She was absolutely delighted with the bracelet and it kept her amused too.

Good for him.

The roofer working across the road last week told me I have a stunning smile and it did make me smile some more.

There are two little ones at my son's school who, when they see me, run like mad to run & jump up to me & fling their arms around me. One boy & one girl. When running up together, we have all ended up in a pile on the floor giggling. They make me smile/laugh even on the darkest of days. The little boy even sent me a Valentine's card as he knew I wouldn't get one from anyone else.

Loads of small things make me ridiculously happy. My youngest (5) pretending to be a cat, my eldest (8) dancing to the Chemical Brothers, the smell of washing dried outside, the fact I'm no longer on ESA and have a job (which I bloody LOVE), waking up next to MrWho at the weekend and snuggling, the smell of the air now the plants are waking up after winter.

I'd better stop as my list is huge and my soppiness is making me feel ill.......
