"As a comic book fan myself, I actually like the pneumatic female characters. I like the kick arse ones though. Damsels waiting for a knight do fuck all for me. Comics and a lot of fiction writing are about fantasy worlds. As long as guys can separate fantasy from reality, I don't see the problem. If objectifying female characters leads them to objectify women, they need to actually get a life. Vampirella is one of my favourite characters. She wears almost nothing. I think her outfit is great. Most of the fiction I read has very strong female characters in. Very few sit around waiting to be saved, and in fact, sometimes the guys need saving from them." ![]() ![]()

I think she has some good points, she's probably not 100% correct about everything but who is? The point is - it's criticism. Books, films, music, poetry - they all get criticised and for the most part people dont lose their minds over it even if they disagree. Video game fans need to grow up a bit if they can't take some very basic critiques of the stereotypes in their games.

I'm far from a feminist, and personally love alluringly (un)dressed women, BUT not at the expense of character. Over-sexualisation is a creepy and tacky gimmick, but if adding that layer of to a female character might ADD to them - like as you mentioned, Vampiress/Temptress/Femme Fatale characters, who it makes sense would use their beauty to their advantage, then yes, I think sexually provocative female characters are a good thing. I often say, men have physical strength, women have physical beauty - and the women may just have the advantage there, after all, no man could defeat Samson, but Delilah did.

If you had your eyes open and looked for both sides of the debate, you'd see that. I'm not debating feminism and idiots like Milo with you. That's not the topic of this thread for one, and you don't have the knowledge or life experience to make it worthwhile. I'm not sure why you're so angry but I hope you get past it and that you eventually realise exactly what people like Milo are. Sorry SB, I'll get back on topic.
