Recently I was involved in a group sex session - non Fab related. Afterwards, one guy commented to another about one of the ladies there - you wouldn't take her home to meet your mum though. To which - he looked surprised and commented that yes - a woman who is a lady out and about, but very sexually liberated was just the type he went for.

I guess I'm asking - is there a dual attitude - someone is ok to have sex with but too liberal for more? I'm not meaning NSA but that someone is ok for sex but that makes them not ok in other ways.

I would happily date a swinger. Just curious if this attitude I witnessed is the norm or was an old fashioned attitude.

I think that's old fashioned, is a person is good enough to have sex with then why should they not be any good for anything else. I would happily date a swinger myself as long as there's an understanding.

Yeah loads of guys are hypocrites like that...they're ok to fuck around and be a slag and still think of themselves as relationship worthy, yet the women they fuck are not.

Not sure if many women are the same? I'm not and would consider a relationship with someone who is a slag like me. although not for a swinging relationship, but for an open one i'd have no problem with that, or possibly even monogamous if i had to.

All my relationships started off as hook ups/NSA sex things btw.

I agree.. If u find someone u like and are sexually compatible then why on earth would that person not be good enough for marriage material. What I meant was that of course the attitude exists - of course there are men (and women, etc) who have sex with people they wouldn't have a relationship with - For many reasons, including a misguided notion that women who swing aren't girlfriend material.

I don't follow that rule and I'm not a guy.

I've had meets with guys from here I wouldn't date. I want to have sex with them, not date them, so some things that would be important to me otherwise aren't important in this scenario. It's just a different approach.

Having said that, I wouldn't meet someone I knew looked down on me for being a woman who swings.

Oh I don't mean 'standards' or physical 'league' - I mean socially, or in terms of interests, politics, education, ambition in life, or desire for kids etc.

It's not a lesser standard, just could be very different, a bit of fun requires much less in common to work I think.

We've all had some pain - it's what can help us to better steer our way. I've been lucky with partners and had hurt mainly when I was a mature teenager. I've moved on.
