on the road to nowhere in particular

I have been a lifelong Leicester fan since the start of the season.

My all time most vivid Leicester memory was coming home from a match to find out that my parents had moved out without telling me

"Pompey here!

I think villa fans can count themselves lucky!"

it always raises a smile when Premier League fans whinge after sucking all of the money and opportunities away from the lower leagues. But I guess it's all relative isn't it?

Fans of a lower division team at the top of the table are having a better season than a Premier team at the bottom.

Win their game in hand and Pompey join a pack of 5 fighting for 2 automatic promotion places - good season for you!

Oh, I agree with you. It's been a bit of a fall for us and it has been a tough few years. Just hope villa don't free fall or threatened with liquidation or any club for that matter. I believe our experience and members of the pst have been helping out other clubs, Bolton being one.

I wouldn't count it lucky what has happened to my club, or yours or Leeds, or even the Blues.

All have been or are being badly run and run into the ground. And it's sad to see it happen to any club.

Its not completely the owners fault. Some blame need to be be put on the players/agents who demand huge fees and wages, they don't deserve that sort of wages.

While I totally agree with you, it's also the leagues fault. Fit and proper? Apparently we had several fit and proper in a short space of time. I wonder where they are now?

Not a fan myself but my son is a Man U supporter. Taking him to the Villa game on the 16th.

Thankfully he is a football fan, not just a team supporter. He has also said, along with many other football fans, that Leiceter have done great & deserve the title win. Fingers crossed here. Great to see someone different winning

True, ours despite his fortune is clueless, it will be a long time before we see a premier league team waste £80m+ on complete dross, like we have this year, but i think the writing was on the wall last season, nobody would keep us up this year.

"The Mighty Glasgow Rangers Football Club

(Who incidentally are on the cusp of their 57th domestic league trophy)

Does Martyn Waghorn play for them ?

Yesshouldn't they have given all the trophies back since the 80 when they were deemed to be cheating bastards....thank Celtic they didn't....

Well the original rangers fc were liquidated a few years back, so I think the new rifc are only currently on 2 trophies

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, change the fuckin record. It's only celtic fans who peddle this myth. They are recognised as the same club by fifa, uefa and the sfa so as always you're still playing catch up. "

was Celtic who took the option not to claim the trophies which rangers broke all rules to win..... So peddle that as it's a fact

No celtic said they wouldn't want any trophies if rangers had to be stripped of them, which they weren't.

Any more exclamation marks your jackanory may come true

Can I ask what your profession is as you seem clued up on corporate and tax laws. Unfortunately I'm not and I'm going with what the governing bodies say which is Rangers are Rangers formed in 1872.

Sods law they are now doing well. Every home game is an away trip. Always keep an eye out for their results. Staying up too.
