They are increasing amongst men for the same reason vanity cosmetic surgery is. You keep saying cosmetic surgery is good and people should be able to improve themselves. What I said is that the underlying reason it is happening is a bad thing. People feeling they need to have surgery, which always carries health risks, including disfigurement, infection and death, to "enhance" their abs, pecs, chin etc.
