how to unblock a member?

Hi guys,

i previously hastily blocked a member, and now wish to unblock them!

But they dont appear on my 'blocked list'.

I know through a mutual friend they are happy for us to be in contact but also cant access my profile.

Ive contacted admin, but dont know what else to do?

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Surely if its a mutual block by both parties it will not appear in your list?

Maybe i am wrong.

That's strange that they don't appear in your Blocked List... what happens if you browse their user profile? It should say that you've blocked them - does it?

yes, thats the only way i can even try to access their profile.

I know that the person also wants to be friends, so has unblocked me. But we dont appear on eachothers block list, so dont know how to unblock??

They still appear in your list even if both parties block each other.

Weird... I'm afraid I don't really know what to suggest.

.....although, what happens if you block me? Do I appear on the list? If necessary, I can block you, to try and reproduce the scenario to see if we get the same problem again. Maybe it's a bug with the site that only happens under certain situations.

Try going into the block list and at the top is a box where you can add the name you wish to block.

Add it and see if it appears on the top of your list then unblock.

Just a suggestion.

If you've got a mutual friend why don't you just get them to pass on your email address and avoid this hassle?

thanks _arambar,

ive blocked you, couldnt access ur profile. Left it a few mins, now tried to unblock u. it worked.

so perhaps a glitch in the system!!

hopefully something admin can sort?
