I've just seen an ad for a tour by The Faces with Mick Hucknall as their lead singer. Mick Hucknall?!!?!

what next?...Pink Floyd featuring 'H' from Steps

Unlikely lead singers? Preferably ones that don't look like Charlie Drake

Mick Hucknall has fanstatic singing voice and range.

As a singer Mick's great, no question, but didn't realise he was a dead ringer for little Charlie till I read this thread.

I feel touched Tra and Will both mailled me to tell me of this knowing my Faces Fetish... and I pointed them to the first reunion tour last year where much to my surprise Mick didnt eff it up (see youtube) I don't like his singing voice but I don't want the music to die so will listen and try to enjoy when a paler version comes up.

Will mentioned Miss Judy's Farm - it was pretty rank musically and vocally.

Not a good recording though. I was nodding my head so I must just have the Faces gene in me....
