Time to be honest

And this is me putting myself out there

But seen as it's anonymous why not

I'm lonely n I just wonder when someone will come around for me.

I get attention on here n in the 'real' world I get told all the classics your a stunner any man would be lucky to have you intelligent bubbly blah blah...

But at the end of the day I'm alone

Im not looking for sympathy or owt just need to put it out there so someone can hear me..

I think these things take time. It's an immediate gratification in today's society but in reality we all know it takes time. Rare for anyone to click with someone else so quickly. Fabs is a great way to make sure you dont jumps on too deeply with the wrong person because it is what it is, Nsa. The right person will come along, but I personally wasn't ready to let someone into my life as a cure for any loneliness, I love my own company and need it .... only when I am not trying to fill a yawning gap, can I let someone come in, in that way I feel I have something to offer too. With all of that said, we met on here and the rest is history ... we knew from the moment we met.

Sorry to hear you feel like that - I hope you can find someone to be there for you in the not too distant future.

I remember on Valentines Day messaging on the forum that I hoped those singles that were looking for a partner found someone in the year ahead. Caused a bit of consternation and some bizarre blocks by now UNLOS members of the forum who took offence as they were 'happily single' .. but not all singles are happy to be alone and I hope that those looking for someone to 'be there' for them can find an appropriate soul mate.

Good luck OP - I'm sure there is someone out there who is just perfect for you

I'm 34 this year been single over 3 years

Every guy iv ever dated had either cheated on me or found out they were married...

Like I said I'm not looking for sympathy n I am a strong woman but that mask is sometime hard to wear all the time

I guess this is my therapy

Sorry if I'm being a bummer I really am but iv never told anyone any of this coz I'm the bunny happy girl and sometimes speaking to space is helpful

You're not very old.....plenty of time. Use your time valuably and have experiences and do things. Don't worry too much about what you don't have - concentrate on enjoying what you do have. That's my personal philosophy anyway.

As important this thread is to you, you know it will fall off the page and be replaced with a 'fuck smog avoid' thread. Why shouldn't you say stuff in 'public'? Loads of people do. The trick with dealing with the responses is that it's just patterns of pixels.

Hi OP, your post is so familiar to me. I've been on my own almost 6 years and have only had a handful of dates in that time, and every single one of them has turned out to be married / psycho / idiot.

I know exactly what you mean.

I keep telling myself I'd rather be on my own, and sometimes lonely, than be with the wrong person.

Have you tried volunteering locally to you to perhaps meet up with others who are maybe in the same life situation ? It is ok chatting on here or other social networks but not the same as socialising in person.

We all need someone in life just to be a friend . We hope you find a friend or friends soon.
