Recent events have just proven the war on terror is manufactured by the West with other players joining the plot over the years. We are led to believe there is a war on terror when actual fact there is a war on Islam and most have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

Our governments, media, church go on about how Christians are being murdered by Muslims, are being driven out and we should only accept Christian refugess. People are murdered in a terrorist attack in Pakistan where Christians are targeted on Easter yet there is barely any mention or tribute to the dead by Europe. So much for giving a damn about Christians.

When the ancient city of Palmyra was looted and destroyed by ISIS the West, media etc made so much fuss about the loss of history yet now when the city has been won back by those that looked after it all these years there is no rejoicing by the West and Europe. Not even a few words of relief or congratulations.

The only people who ignore the truth and the reality of what is actually happening are the bigots, the racists, the xenophobes... We are the real terrorists.

Have you ever seen the film team America? I watched it for the first time in years last week and it got me thinking.

Two weeks before that, IS marched a bunch of prisoners into the Roman-era theatre and compelled the city's population to watch them being machine-gunned to death by children.

That is frankly terrifying.

Sorry but we are all entitled to our own opinions so i will give mine.

Firstly if it is a war against Islam then how come there are so many mosques allowed in this Country? It is a War against terrorist nothing more, some people love to dramatize everything and this is a prime example.

Secondly, i am not sure what new outlets you use to get your daily fix of the news but social media and certain news channels all highlighted the attacks in Pakistan

The wars are just coincidentally against countries which are muslim, but that's basically what it also is.

We allow mosques in this country because for the most part we're a multi faith society.

It's geopolitical: oil, balance of power, investment in infrastructure contracts, proxy war. The muslim thing may be a part of it. WHo's to know.

Mosques have been built in this country before the "War on terror" started by the Bush administration and Blair. It's nothing new when the government says they are not complicit in ensuring there is just enough hate and Islamaphobia so they can continue to do what they are doing in the Middle East. Clearly you prefer the brainwashing rubbish you are presented with in the media and in no way can that be dramatized can it? Do your own research you may learn a few things.

Like you said media may have highlighted but have not given as much exposure as the Paris or Brussels attacks.

Merkel alone has taken over one and a half millions muslims so apart from the mass slaughter of Christians and Yazidis by muslims, what you just said is an outright lie.

Depends if you mean 'taking over' or just that a higher proportin of society happens to be moving towards being Muslim than before.

If it's the latter(WHY would anyone think that muslims are trying to 'take over' anything - my opinion), then what's the problem?

He formed a group called the mujahedeen that the CIA backed with weapons to remove the Soviet union from Afghanistan!.

Well.. The latest round of interfering was back in the first gulf was for oil. We never got involved in the iran/iraq war in the 70s. Then one illegal war after saddam hussain got framed with mass destruction claims.. And wrecked libya. The Usa and the uk created isis and the refugee crisis thats came home to roost. Usa and the uk's proxy war in syria has failed, so no congratulations from them.. If russia caused all this mess then there would be hell on!! Double standards! Esp. Palmyra isn't just the ancient city area. It,s strategically important. It opens up access to eastern syria and the city of raqqa for the army to in on the offensive against isis. Great news if they can kill off isis

No, you tell me how Catholics (and other Christians) DON'T value life. I am one, and I can assure you that life is important to me. I'm also not aware of too many Catholic countries bombing people "in the name of God". I literally don't understand what the point is you're trying to make. I'D just like to say first off that I have no sympathy with terrorists or any form of terrorism. I would like to say that it must have been a great consolation to the innocents killed by collateral damage that they were not the intended target.

Also it might be better if the west were to consider their actions as perceived by moderate Arabic nations.

As to being heroic, how heroic must it appear to be press a button thousands of miles away which activates a drone killing innocents as opposed to strapping on an explosive vest. The latter might not be right or reasonable but peoples perception's ought to be part of the strategy, hearts and minds anyone.

I feel for any innocent person killed by a terrorist act or by our military operations Muslim Christian black white or other I feel for them deeply it's not right or fair I think we can all agree on that.

However to target innocent civilians in the name of Islam isn't defendable to me in anyway in retaliation or other wise.

There was a chap on Radio 4 'Any Questions' last week, didn't catch his name.

He was talking about islamic factions (of whatever flavour-there's so many of them) being 'Death Cults' in that their only aim is to create death and destruction, preferably of infidels so that the world will be converted to islam.

Read up on Takfiri doctrine and Wahhabism and look forward to that ladies.
