What's your favourite line from a James Bond movie?

Mine is from Moonraker when he gets picked up at the airport and the sexy helicopter pilot says 'Welcome to Los Angeles' and Bond replies 'I like it already'.

In Fleming's novel Casino Royale, it is stated that Bond "watched as the deep glass became frosted with the pale golden drink, slightly aerated by the bruising of the shaker," suggesting that Bond was requesting it shaken because of the vodka it contained.

Actually that the Bond in the books is a thug is the reason I like Daniel Craig playing that role. He seems to take it back to how the books intended Bond to be; a thoroughly unpleasant and ruthless man, willing to do whatever was necessary to get the job done.

Here's a good one:

"Bond's drinking habits run throughout the series of books.

During the course of On Her Majesty's Secret Service alone, Bond consumes forty-six drinks: Pouilly-Fuissé, Riquewihr and Marsala wines, most of a bottle of Algerian wine, some 1953 Château Mouton Rothschild claret, along with Taittinger and Krug champagnes and Babycham; for whiskies he consumes three bourbon and waters, half a pint of I.W. Bond smokes like the proverbial, too:

"Bond is a heavy smoker, at one point smoking 70 cigarettes a day.

Bond has his cigarettes custom-made by Morland of Grosvenor Street, mixing Balkan and Turkish tobacco and having a higher nicotine content than normal; the cigarettes have three gold bands on the filter.

Bond carried his cigarettes in a wide gunmetal cigarette case which carried fifty; he also used a black oxidised Ronson lighter.

The cigarettes were the same as Fleming's, who had been buying his at Morland since the 1930s; the three gold bands on the filter were added during the war to mirror his naval Commander's rank.

On average, Bond smokes sixty cigarettes a day, although he cut back to around twenty five a day after his visit to a health farm in Thunderball."

Although a misogynist, and homophobic (Goldfinger the book), in the book Casino Royale, as in the film, Bond falls in love with Vesper Lynd and would have quit the service for her.

There's a reason for that - Moonraker is the worst Bond film. Sadly it wastes a great villain in Hugo Drax.

It was written primarily to cash in on the 'space craze' started by Star Wars.

I believe that's 'Die Another Day' with Pierce Brosman and Halle Berry.

One I do recall was quite cheezey is in Moonraker after Bond (Roger Moore) had his fight in the water with an anoconda and Drax asks him why did he break it off all of sudden, to which Bond replies, 'I discovered he had a crush on me!"
