People are complaining at Channel 5 for showing this on Easter Sunday... According to the Mirror, http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/channel-5-blasted-traumatising-viewers-7638429

That film scared the crap out of me when I was younger

For real! There's a heroic moment when the old (good) rabbit stands up to the nasty rabbit to make his last stand and he just gets fucked up and dies instantly. It's like the predecessor to game of thrones!

Its a family film though! Just because it doesn't have the Disney cutesy doesn't mean its not being shown at the right time

Northampton Somewhere

My sister took me to the cinema to see this when I was very young. I cried so much she had to take me out!!!

I probably wouldn't let my daughter watch it not because of the bunny reference and it being Easter just because she's a hormonal mess atm!

My Own Little World

The film is almost 40 yrs old so hardly new, the parents should have had some idea of the contents, probably even seen it when they were kids. So what are they complaining about!

Love the film and wether I'm a child watching it or an adult I'll always cry. Same effect with the movie All dogs go to heaven.

I take a keen interest in watching things with my children, I just miss things when browsing Facebook, texting or sneaking out for a fag. Can't be in two places at once you know.

Ain't that the truth. It's the Tv's fault.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I have this on DVD. Its a U rated film. Do people think rabbits live like the animals in Hundred Acre Wood?

Thought I'd bump this thread seeing that watership down is on later on today.

I wonder if people will be complaining again like they did last year.
