"The river that periodically floods my row of houses is now full to the brim and on the verge of spilling over! I wish the rain would do one cos I don't fancy another few months of no carpets or furniture, industrial dryers, replacing kitchen units, replastering, redecorating and a midge infestation (thats MIDGE not MINGE )" Has the government not requested a financial assistance package to assist all those who flood? oh wait, why would he do that, that means Cameron would actually be trying to help someone in UK

"The sea was spectacular in the wind yesterday, huge plumes of foam crashing against the sea wall like a geyser! " Before lighthouse,s were known in those weather conditions yesterday many ships run aground into low lieing rocks reefs etc over the centurys and thousands have been lost at sea that way around our coast, the lighthouse,s have saved many lives since in the last two hundred years we have quite an history there on this Island from rescuers in rowing boats like grace darling to henry blogg from cromer in norfolk its hard to Imagine them in conditions like that but they did often enough to save a lot of lifes and occasionally loseing some of their own.

That is right, went out earlier and saw few laying on the ground. The gusts must of really been strong to get them down.
